.56 caliber, Brass smoothbore engraved barrel measuring 12 3/4 inches with set back front sight, engraved musician with french horn on breech, heavily engraved brass lockplate with dog, soldier with long rifle and horn, brass flashpan, engraved swan neck cock, decorative cock spur, heavily engraved brass trigger guard with theatrical face and finial, engraved brass butt cap with removable end cap, brass fox chase scene on left side, decorative trigger, no provision for ramrod. Two stage action works as it should. Overall length is 20 1/4  inches. circa mid 1700s
