SPRING over FIELD over 1830 on the rear of the lockplate, Eagle over U.S. in front of the cock. Rear swivel intact on front of the trigger guard, front swivel is missing. All hardware is iron except brass pan, U.S. on the butt plate, 1840 is stamped on the top strap behind the breach, 42 inch long barrel, overall length is 57 inches. SV is carved crudely on the butt stock, half moon front sight, bayonet lug is present on top of muzzle, appears MI is stamped on the middle band that is supposed to hold the upper swivel. Two stage action works superb, .69 caliber
