H. Deringer U.S. Model 1808 Flintlock Pistol
Outlined beveled lockplate with H. Deringer over Phila. in front of the cock and 1808 stamped behind the cock, outlined swan neck two stage cock, works properly, heavy walled 9 inch octagon barrel with US stamped on top of rear clamp, M 1808 stamped on left side of breach, V notched rear sight and the front sight is a long low profile bare metal (silver?) brazed to a brass insert fastned to a notch in the barrel, deep seven groove barrel approximately .60cal.
Small crack in walnut stock behind the back clamp down the left side of the stock, barely noticeable. Brass furniture, plain design, outlined butt cap and one outlined ferrule for the tapered ramrod. Ramrod matches the walnut stock. Overall length is 16 inches.
